Hollywood Racks HR520 Road Runner 5-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (2-Inch Receiver)

The Road Runner Hitch Mount Rack from Hollywood Racks is built to safely and easily transport up to five adult bikes. Bikes are held in place with durable rubber bike stabilizers with integrated tie down straps while an anti-sway tiedown bar prevents them from swinging out during transit. The loaded rack is tiltable for cargo area access and a No-Wobble system eliminates slack between the receiver hitch and the rack. This rack includes a 9-foot security cable and two keyed-alike padlocks. A 2-inch Class 3 receiver hitch is required.

About Hollywood Racks
Hollywood Racks started in 1973 when they began making trunk racks in the back of our bike shop in Hollywood, CA. As a retailer, the company knew exactly what people needed: good quality products that were easy to use. They earned a great reputation fast and began selling racks to other dealers, and later to the bike companies. Today, Hollywood Racks builds racks the only way they know how: simple, strong, and secure.

Hollywood Racks are built with top-quality materials including high-strength steel, aircraft-quality fasteners, and thick powder coats to withstand the elements. Generous amounts of padding protect bikes and cars, and all of their products are fully covered with a limited warranty. The company's products continue to receive accolades from all the major outdoor sports magazines, and are in demand by everyone from recreational cycling families to weekend warriors to race teams on the road and off.

Maserbuilt Hitch-Haul Triple Bike Rack Accessory

Customer Review: Inadequate as shipped
If you own a hitch-haul, the bike rack accessory allows you to skip a stand-alone rack and kill two birds with one product. Another advantage is it accepts all bikes equally well, regardless of frame configuration, unlike some "hanging" racks. However, be aware that the rack is NOT SAFE as shipped. The rack openings are too wide to grip firmly any bike's wheels (esp. true of narrow street tires) and the single, light-duty tie-down provided is wholly inadequate to stabilize one, let alone three, bikes. Here's what you need to do: buy two more decent strength tie-downs (I have ones with ratchets to make tightening easier) and use them to pull the bikes' frames (or seatposts, etc.) tightly toward the right and left of the hitch-haul. (Plenty of holes provided for this purpose.) This prevents to-and-fro motion of the bikes. Then use the provided light-duty tie-down to attach the bikes firmly to your reciever, bumper, etc. to prevent them from toppling backward on acceleration. Also carefully pad contact points between bikes and tie-downs, bikes themselves, and/or bike-vehicle to prevent paint damage. If you do all this--but only if you do all this--you've got a serviceable and safe product. Believe me, if you follow manufacturer's instructions and "secure" your bikes using only their tie down, they'll list badly after a few blocks! Who knows what will happen at highway speeds....
