Customer Review: Basically what I needed
This is the only manual that covers the 1.8l Sidekick Sport, so I got what I needed. As usual, good for the DIY'er but won't necessarily cover everything. I wouldn't be without one.
Customer Review: Is it good? No, it's snot
This is a frustrating book. While I understand that cramming everything that needs to be known about a car between two covers is a nearly impossible task, it seemd like nothing I wanted to do was adequately explained.

The switch for my AC/heater gave out...the explanation for how to remove it was complicated and confusing. I'm not sure if I can do it without completely disassembling the heater control panel or not. My speedo cable squeaks...I can't even find any mention of the speedo cable in the book. There's an explanation of how to pull the instrument cluster...but for some reason, it doesn't mention where any of the cables or wires that connect to it are located.

I browsed some other sections, and they seemed just as confusingly written as the areas I was interested in.

I would only get this manual as a supplement to another one. It's got the information that someone with a good deal of experience needs to work on their car, but it isn't good enough for an amateur, even a fairly experienced one like me.
