Not only does this kit contain some of the best car care products in the industry, it's perfectly matched to a wide variety of users. If you have a brand new vehicle, wipe on a protective coat of FMJ, buff lightly and you're done! If you're a shine nut, wait 12 to 24 hours and wipe on a second coat. If your vehicle is 6 to 12 months old and you want to recapture that showroom new shine, apply a coat of Finishing Touch Glaze and finish with a protective coat of FMJ. If your vehicle is a little older and starting to show some scars from daily life, this kit is still the answer. Start with Final Polish II to remove or reduce swirls and minor scratches, follow with Finishing Touch Glaze to hide any remaining wrinkles and finish with a protective coat of FMJ. Youth recaptured! Nissan: Z and ZX 1970-88 (Chilton's Total Car Care Repair Manual)

Covers all models of Datsun 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX and Nissan 300ZX. This series offers do-it-yourselfers of all levels TOTAL maintenance, service, and repair information in an easy to use format. Each manual contains: trouble codes, electronic engine controls, maintenance schedules, diagnostic charts, wiring diagrams, tune up specifications, and much more.
Customer Review: Chilton Manuals
When you are desperate and do not have (or cannot afford) a factory manual, you take what you can get. Typically Chilton has adequate wiring diagrams and vaccume diagrams although I have found omissions that will keep you troubleshooting for weeks like an inline fuse. You will not find the detail of a factory manual such as the resistance operating ranges of sensors, computer logic, or a detailed assembly view of a transmission. They have nice sections for aspiring shade tree mechanics such as a body repair, and some basic theory of operation. You cannot expect explicit detail from a manual less than three inches thick which covers a complete historical line of any model of automobile.
Customer Review: Too many cars not enough book.
Chiltons just tried to fit to much into one book. If your going to get a book get one that just covers the Z that you have. There is little to no detail in the interior/exterior part of the book. I was disappointed with this book in comparison to other chiltons books
